Jake Paul Eyeing Derek Brunson After Dana White Says No to Fight with Masvidal

by Aleksandar Urdarevik on September 19, 2021

After his win against Tyron Woodley, Jake Paul is eyeing his next matchup.

Paul, who now has a record of 4-0, has been pushing for a bout between himself and Jorge Masvidal, the #6 ranked welterweight fighter in the UFC who has a record of 35-15-0.

Dana White, however, was not agreeable to the idea of a Paul vs. Masvidal fight. He spoke to The Daily Telegraph about Jake Paul requesting to fight Masvidal, “Go fight somebody your own size.”

Paul responded with a tweet a few days ago, “Dana admitted this morning that I would destroy “170” pound Masvidal.. So Dana will you give Brunson permission to make some real money? Dana?”

After his victory against British fighter Darren Till, Brunson tweeted in response to Paul, saying, “Blonde Brunson doesn’t lose. I adapt to any environment. @jakepaul come to the @ufc for one fight, we can make whatever rules you want in a contract, then I’m sure @danawhite will loan me for a boxing match!”

Who do you think would win in a Brunson vs. Paul matchup?
